PURPOSE: A mobile terminal and a control method thereof are provided to display a detailed menu by the use frequency. CONSTITUTION: A proximity sensor(141) detects the proximity signal. A display unit(151) indicates a menu in an first area. If a proximity signal is detected by the proximity sensor at the first area a control unit(180) displays a detailed lower menu in user frequency order based on the first area. The lower menu is displayed in one type of circular icons, square icons, or a text list. |
