<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lancer device capable of collecting blood from a patient by a user, and capable of disposing a used spent lancet without touching it. <P>SOLUTION: The lancer device includes an adjustable tip for selecting a stylet piercing depth into the patient, and a triggering mechanism for discharging the lancet, using a yoke type latch and a plate spring.
