PURPOSE: A food waste processing apparatus is provided to prevent the environmental contamination by precipitating suspended solids from a discharged material decomposed by microorganisms, using a precipitation agent. CONSTITUTION: A food waste processing apparatus comprises the following: a decomposition tank(111) crushing and stirring food waste, and decomposing the food waste with microorganisms for liquidizing; a discharged material storage tank(114) for receiving materials discharged from the decomposition tank; a food waste processor(110) formed with a precipitation agent supplying pipe(116); a first transfer pipe(121) transferring precipitated water; a first filter(123) removing the salinity from the precipitated water; a first storage(124) for storing the water passed through the first filter; a sludge extraction filter(125); a second transfer pipe transferring clean water after extracting sludge; a humidifier(130) using the clean water; and a controller(140).
