PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an external composition for skin, excellent in elastin production-promoting performance. SOLUTION: This external composition for the skin includes a star fruit extract obtained by extracting star fruit (Averrhoa carambola L) belonging to Oxalidaceae with an extraction solvent and a Pashanbheda extract obtained by extracting Pashanbheda belonging to Bergenia schmidtii (Regel) in Saxifragaceae with an extraction solvent, preferably in a star fruit extract: Pashanbheda extract weight ratio of 8:2 to 2:8 converted into the dried products.
