PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a decorative member improved in feeling of unevenness at a low cost. SOLUTION: The decorative member includes a decorative layer having an image imitating a three-dimensional body by drawing a shade projected when applying light to unevenness from an oblique direction, as a shade part, and a surface layer provided on the decorative layer and having light transmitting property. The surface layer diffuses light to make it hard for a person to perceive a distance from the surface of each portion of the image looked at through the surface layer. The surface layer diffuses light to reduce the change of brightness at a boundary line that forms the shade part of the image without distorting the boundary line that forms the shade part of the image looked at through the surface layer.
