PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cancer treating agent inhibiting infiltration and metastasis into the neighboring tissues.

SOLUTION: This new compound is represented by formula (I) (wherein R1, R4, and R5are each hydrogen, a hydroxy group, a 1-4C alkyl group, an alkenyl group, an alkynyl group or an alkoxy group; R2is oxygen or a hydroxy group; and R3is hydrogen or a substituent selected from the group consisting of a substituted or nonsubstituted 1-8C straight chain or branched chain alkyl group, alkenyl group, alkynyl group, and acyl group) and the cancer treating agent has the compound as an active ingredient.
