PURPOSE: A steel crack diffusion method for high-carbon chromium bearing is provided to melt large carbide in slab through soaking of the slab, thereby improving the fatigue life. CONSTITUTION: A steel crack diffusion method for high-carbon chromium bearing comprises a step of reheating slab before rolling to 1190~1200°C and keeping it for 1.5 hours. The slab comprises C 0.95~1.05 weight%, Si 0.35~1.0 weight%, Mn 0.45~1.0 weight%, Cr 1.30~1.60 weight%, and Fe and inevitable impurities of the rest amount. |
