METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR QUERYING A DOMAIN NAME IN A MOBILE NETWORK

A method and system for querying a domain name in a mobile network are provided. The method comprises the following steps : a user equipment (UE) transmits a querying request for querying an internet protocol (IP) address of a home agent (HA) to a domain name server; the domain name server queries the address to a home subscriber server (HSS) and obtains the IP address of the home agent (HA); the domain server transmits the IP address of the home agent (HA) to the UE. The rate of the access service for a mobile node is effectively speeded up and the waste of the network resources is reduced by the invention.
