The unit (1) has two connecting sections (7, 8) each with an opening cross section (49, 50) and a valve section (6). A valve with its connector is sealingly inserted into the respective cross section. A pipe (23) is arranged in an interior (22) of the connecting unit and defines a flow channel (25). The flow channel opens into one of the connecting sections (7). An internal lateral surface of the connector of the valve, an outer lateral surface of the pipe or an inner lateral surface of the pipe is sealingly enclosed by an outer lateral surface of the connector. An independent claim is also included for a panel-type radiator comprising a connecting unit.
