PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an arm rest for a vehicle capable of absorbing impact at side collision of the vehicle by deforming an arm rest core material without increasing the number of part items and assembling work and not easily deforming the arm rest core material at usual use.SOLUTION: The arm rest 10 for the vehicle includes: the arm rest core material 20; and a cushion material 34 mounted to an upper surface 30 of the arm rest core material 20. A boss 22 is projectedly provided on the arm rest core material 20, and the arm rest core material 20 is mounted to a door trim 10 of the vehicle by the boss 22. A rib 26 is formed on an outer peripheral surface of the boss 22 and has an extension part 27 extending in a vehicle width direction, and the extension part 27 is integrally formed on the upper surface 30 or a lower surface 31 of the arm rest core material 20. |
