PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information recording method enabling data recording effective for long-term storage.SOLUTION: In the information recording method for recording, in a free area, first low-quality recorded data having an error rate not less than a first error rate upon finalization of a recording medium, the information recording method reads recorded data from a recording area of the recording medium, measures an error rate of the recorded data by each predetermined data block, detects the first low-quality recorded data based on error rate measurement results obtained by the measurement means, corrects an error in the first low-quality recorded data, records error-corrected recorded data corresponding to the first low-quality recorded data at a spare recording position of the free area of the recording medium, and records, at the management data recording position of the free area, recording management information in which the address of the recording position of the first low-quality recorded data and the address of the spare recording position where the error corrected recorded data is recorded are managed in association. |
