PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cord for reinforcing rubbers which exhibits excellent adhesiveness to rubber.SOLUTION: The cord for reinforcing rubbers which is used for the reinforcement of rubbers comprises a stretch-broken yarn of a polyethylene naphthalate fiber having a single fiber fineness of 1-7 dtex. The cord for reinforcing rubbers is obtained by twisting one stretch-broken yarn of the polyethylene naphthalate fiber or doubled stretch-broken yarns of the polyethylene naphthalate fiber at a twist coefficient K of 1.0-7.0, and has 50-500/m of naps having a vertical length of 1-5 mm.
