PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a Vrk1 protein antibody having high specificity, a Vrk1 protein immunoreagent containing the same, a method for producing the Vrk1 protein antibody, an antigen for producing the Vrk1 protein antibody, a method for detecting a Vrk1 protein and a method for detecting another protein to interact with the Vrk1 protein.SOLUTION: The antibody to specifically react with a Vrk1 protein is obtained by using an antigen having MPRVKAAQAGRQSSAKRHLC as an epitope among amino acid sequences constituting the Vrk1 protein to immunize and sensitize a host animal and performing isolation and purification using body fluid of the host animal.
