PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a broadcast receiving apparatus capable of canceling complicated operation in the case of listening a broadcast program. SOLUTION: The broadcast receiving apparatus comprises an antenna 4 for receiving a broadcast, output means 6, 8, 11 for outputting the received broadcast, notification means 18, 22 for notifying a program related to previously registered data at the broadcasting timing of the program, and a notification cancel means 18 for canceling the notification of succeeding programs when program notifications by the notification means 18, 22 are continuously generated within a prescribed short time.
