PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable an audio signal processor side to easily recognize the state of a connection between an audio signal processor and a computer. SOLUTION: In a mixer system having a digital mixer 30, and a PC performing a DAW application realizing functions of transmitting and receiving waveform data to and from the digital mixer through a plurality of ports and processing the waveform data, the PC is stored with a plurality of cooperation control programs corresponding to a plurality of kinds of digital mixers, and the digital mixer is made to detect the PC actuating a cooperation control program corresponding thereto and the cooperation control program being connected to a control port of the PC (S22, S31). When that is detected, a display unit is made to display as such (S32) and the digital mixer is enabled to control itself and the operation of the DAW application. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
