The invention relates to a radial pivoted segmental thrust bearing (1) for supporting a shaft (2), having a plurality of pivoted bearing segments (3) distributed over the circumference of the bearing and at a distance from each other. The pivoted bearing segments (3) are disposed in a bearing housing and a sealing bar (4) is disposed both in front of and behind the radial pivoted segmental thrust bearing (1) in the axial direction, for axially sealing the intermediate spaces (5) formed by the spacing of the pivoted segments (3). The sealing bar (4) is disposed eccentrically to the inner diameter (6) of the radial pivoted segmental thrust bearing (1) so that each area (11) of the individual intermediate spaces (5) radially covered by the sealing bar (4) is different in size. |
