An apparatus to collect ambient air samples in a container for chemical and sensory analysis. The invention is another sampling device that improves air sampling capability over difficult terrain and at different altitudes. The air sampling drone includes; a remote control drone, and a control sampling box that attaches to the drone. Attached to the control sampling box are an air intake port probe and a sampling bag. The control sampling box contains; a micro vacuum air pump, a control board to record and to transmit the data to a smart phone or tablet, a relay switch, a power convertor, and a pressure sensor to record drone altitude. To collect an ambient air sample the remote control drone is taken to the desire height, a vacuum pump is switched on via a smart phone or tablet, and air is pulled from the intake port probe into the attached sample bag. |
