PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink supply device, an ink supply method and an ink jet recorder, capable of generating negative pressure to be applied to a delivery part for delivering ink, and capable of supplying the ink to the delivery part, using compact and inexpensive constitution.SOLUTION: This ink supply device or the like includes a pressure regulation means 132 for regulating pressure in an inside of the delivery part to make the negative pressure within a prescribed range suitable for delivering the ink act on the delivery part, and an opening and closing valve 133 for conducting switching between communication and blocking of the delivery part 22K with/from an ink storage part 28K. The negative pressure within the prescribed range suitable for delivering the ink into the delivery part 22K is generated by the pressure regulation means 132, when supplying the ink from the ink storage part 28K to the delivery part 22K, and the delivery part is communicated therein with the ink storage part by the opening and closing valve 133. |
