PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power converter for converting a DC power obtained from a three-phase AC power supply through a rectifying circuit into an AC power with an inverter circuit and, in particular, a power converter for suppressing a resonance phenomenon occurring when reducing an electrostatic capacity of a DC capacitor provided in the rectifying circuit.SOLUTION: Either of a positive arm and a negative arm of a three-phase diode rectifying circuit 2 is formed of diode elements D1P, D2P and D3P.
