PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To overcome the problem that, conventionally in connection of beams in a steel structure, a connecting method is proposed requiring no welding work causing deterioration in work efficiency or in transportation and storage efficiency, with an inevitable increase in weight due to an increase in the number of components. SOLUTION: The steel structure includes a large steel beam 10 of an H-shape in cross section, a small steel beam 11 of an H-shape in cross section, disposed in the cross direction while being overlapped on the large beam 10 and connecting the overlapped flanges 10a, 11a through bolt B fastening, and a flange brace 13 preventing the collapse of the large beam 10, wherein one end is bonded to the web attaching member 14b bonded to the web 10b of the large beam 10 through bolt B fastening and the other end is bonded to the flange attaching member 14a bonded to the flange 11a of the small beam 11 through bolt B fastening, both ends being bonded through the bolt B fastening respectively.
