PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To quicken a printing starting time at a low temperature while suppressing influence caused by the occurrence of mist in an inkjet image forming apparatus. SOLUTION: The inkjet image forming apparatus includes: a print job control means for controlling printing operation to printing paper based on a print job; a means for ejecting ink to the printing paper from each nozzle based on a drive signal for driving an ink ejecting mechanism; and an ink temperature measuring means. When the ink temperature measured value of the ink temperature measuring means is a second reference temperature or higher and lower than a first reference temperature, the print job control means computes a printing rate in at least one of both end regions in a carrying direction and both end regions in a perpendicular direction to the carrying direction based on the print job, and when the printing rate is a predetermined reference value or less, the print job control means carries out printing operation so that both end regions of the printing rate are the upper and lower ends in the carrying direction. A voltage value of the driving signal is larger than a voltage value of a driving signal when the ink temperature measured value of the ink temperature measuring means is the first reference temperature.
