PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game machine capable of reducing a processing load for executing a display when simultaneously displaying a plurality of individual pictures. SOLUTION: A memory module 74 stores picture data associated with the plurality of types of individual pictures. A VDP 76 reads the picture data based on a drawing command from a display CPU 72 and creates drawing data in a frame buffer 82 using the read picture data. In this case, effect data are stored associated with a plurality of types of effect pictures. When the respective effect data associated with the effect pictures are drawn in a frame where the plurality of effect pictures are simultaneously displayed, the respective effect data are synthesized to create synthetic data.
