PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pressure sensor capable of enhancing the reliability, as compared to those of conventional types. SOLUTION: The pressure sensor includes a cylindrical housing extending in its axial direction; a pressure-transmitting means housed in the tip side of the housing; a pressure detecting element which is housed in the housing and is pressed by the pressure-transmitting member; a base made up of an insulating material which is housed in the housing and holds the pressure-detecting element; a substrate which extends in the axial direction inside the housing and is arranged with its tip at a predetermined interval from the base; a plurality of conductor patterns formed on the substrate in the axial direction and electrically connected to the pressure detecting element; and an elastic member for displaceably holding the substrate with respect to the housing.
