PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an photoelectric device that obtains changeability of display characteristic or is driven at high speed. SOLUTION: The photoelectric device includes: a plurality of pixels (50) arranged corresponding to intersections of a plurality of scanning lines (10) and a plurality of data lines (20); a scanning line driving circuit (100) selecting the plurality of scanning lines in predetermined order; and data line driving circuits (201 and 202) outputting data potential to each of the plurality of data lines. The data line driving circuit can change an interval between data potential corresponding to one of gradations and data potential corresponding to one of gradations adjacent thereto based on image data (VD). One of two data line driving circuits generates such data potential, and, concurrently, the scanning line driving circuit and the other data line driving circuit drive the pixels belonging to an image display area (A1 or A2) corresponding to the other data line driving circuit.
