METHOD FOR RELEASING MULTICASTING AND BROADCASTING DATA PATH AND SYSTEM THEREOF

A method for releasing a multicasting and broadcasting data path and a system thereof are disclosed. Wherein, the method comprises: the Access Service Network (ASN) originates the releasing of a data path which bears the multicasting and broadcasting service when needed, and notifies the Core Service Network (CSN) to terminate the corresponding multicasting and broadcasting service on the data path. In the invention, the releasing of the data path which bears the multicasting and broadcasting service is originated by the ASN, consequently, the flexibility of the flow is enhanced. The invention applies to various scenarios and saves network resources to the maximum extent.
