PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a retrofitted lock member of a battery connector, satisfactorily maintaining the state of plugs being fitted in each other. SOLUTION: This lock member 50 is retrofitted to the battery connector 40 composed of a pair of body side plugs 41 and battery side plugs 42 provided so as to be freely inserted and pulled out. The lock member is equipped with: a plate 51 attached to the body side plugs by bolts 53; and a bracket 52 attached to the battery side plugs 42 by screws 67. Engagement protrusions 56 protruding perpendicularly to the fitting direction of the respective plugs 41, 42 are provided in the plate 51, and engagement pieces 75 which are engaged with the engagement protrusions 56 to the separating direction of the respective plugs 41, 42 are provided in the bracket 52.
