#CMT# #/CMT# The mixing- and kneading machine (1) has a worm shaft (3) rotated in a housing (2) and translatory moved in an axial direction. The worm shaft has four groups of screw flights (4) that are radially uniformly distributed over a periphery and axially arranged one behind the other. Outer diameter of the worm shaft ranges between 100 and 400 mm, and rotational speed of the shaft ranges between 5 and 2001/minute. A feed zone (8), a transition zone (9), mixing- and dispersion zones (10), and a vent zone (11) are provided with kneading teeth (5, 5x) protruded in a process chamber (6). #CMT# : #/CMT# An independent claim is also included for a method for executing a continuous preparation process by a mixing- and kneading machine. #CMT#USE : #/CMT# Mixing- and kneading machine for a continuous preparation process of base materials e.g. paste and chewing gum base, for a food industry and a plastic industry (all claimed).
