PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a filler for a cooling tower having excellent heat exchange efficiency with a relatively small pressure loss. SOLUTION: The filler for the cooling tower is constituted by laminating a plurality of sheets for the filler having a plurality of projections and arranged within the cooling tower. In the filler for the cooling tower, raw water is supplied from the upper side to spaces between layers and outside air is supplied from the lateral side. Thus, the raw water is brought into contact with the outside air for cooling.
