METHOD OF DERIVING INDEX FOR DISCRIMINATING MELANOMA

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new method of deriving an index for discriminating melanoma which allows to discriminate non-invasively and objectively melanoma using spectra analysis. SOLUTION: The method includes a first step of measuring the diffuse reflection spectrum of the surface of an object to acquire positional information of the surface of the object and a plurality of pixel data including the diffuse reflection spectrum at the position, a second step of regarding the diffuse reflection spectrum acquired in the first step as a multi-dimensional vector and finding the angle made by this multi-dimensional vector with a reference vector, and a third step of finding an index that reflects molecular information of the surface of the object on the basis of the angle acquired in the second step and the positional information of the pixel data.
