PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device having light-weight and tough constitution. SOLUTION: Since a substrate 30 of a display device 100 is formed by knitting together a plurality of band type tape members X, Y made of resin, the substrate 30 becomes more tough than a resin substrate of one plate. Also although they are knitting structure, as they are constituted of the tape member of resin, weight is decreased more than a glass substrate. Therefore, the display device 100 in which strength and flexibility are made compatible. In other words, the display device 100 having light-weight and tough configuration is provided.
