<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solar cell module capable of improving power generating efficiency by reducing a non-power generating region on a surface layout, and also to provide a manufacturing method of the solar cell module. <P>SOLUTION: A solar cell module 1 comprises: a solar cell string 31 (a first solar cell 10 and a second solar cell 20 connected in series via an interconnector 30); a translucent substrate 35 arranged on the front side of the solar cell string 31; a protective member 36 arranged on the rear side of the solar cell string 31; a translucent sealing member 37 (a front-side sealing member 37f and a rear-side sealing member 37r) which is arranged between the translucent substrate 35 and the protective member 36 so as to seal the solar cell string 31; and a first output lead wire 15 which is connected to a back electrode 12 of the first solar cell 10 so as to output electric power to the outside.
