PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an antenna with high antenna performance that has a coupling capacitance between a feed radiation electrode and a non-feed radiation electrode with high precision, and also to provide a radio communication device equipped with the same. SOLUTION: The antenna 101 comprises: an antenna element 31 constituted by forming a predetermined electrode on a dielectric base body 40; and a substrate 32 constituted by forming a predetermined electrode on a base material 50. In a non-ground region UA of the substrate 32, a feed end electrode 54, a ground end electrode 55, an electrode 61 for feed radiation electrode coupling, and an electrode 62 for non-feed radiation electrode coupling are formed. The electrode 61 for feed radiation electrode coupling generates a capacitance with a predetermined part of a feed radiation electrode 41 of the antenna element 31, and the electrode 62 for non-feed radiation electrode coupling generates a capacitance with a predetermined part of a non-feed radiation electrode 42 of the antenna element 31. A chip capacitor CC is mounted across the electrode 61 for feed radiation electrode coupling and the electrode 62 for non-feed radiation electrode coupling. COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
