ABUTMENT INTEGRATED APPROACH SLAB AND METHOD OF CONSTRUCTION THE SAME

PURPOSE: An abutment integrated approach slab, which minimizes the deformation of the connection part of a bridge, and a construction method thereof are provided to prevent the traffic accidents according to the deformation of an approach slab. CONSTITUTION: An abutment integrated approach slab comprises an abutment(11), an integrated approach slab(12) and a prestressing strand(13). The integrated approach slab is manufactured by arranging reinforcing bars for mounting an approach slab and pouring and curing concrete. The integrated approach slab is integrally mounted with the top of the abutment.
