<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To display video data on an external video display device together with mobile terminal UI data, without applying any excessive processing load upon a mobile terminal. <P>SOLUTION: A mobile terminal 100 outputs video data and mobile terminal UI data to a video display device (TV) 200 without combining them as an image. On the video display device 200, a UI drawing section 230 draws a UI image on the basis of the mobile terminal UI data received from the mobile terminal by an HDMI receiving section 210 and video display device UI data prepared thereinside.
