PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery pack capable of making leading about of wiring simple, and capable of reducing an internal resistance by shortening the wiring length, while having a plurality of square element batteries. SOLUTION: The core pack 20 of a battery pack includes six element batteries 21-26 and a circuit board 27 and an external connector 28. The six element batteries 21-26 have an outer package can made of a conductive material, respectively, and negative electrode terminals 21c-26c are provided at one end, and the opposed end has positive electrode terminals 21d-26d. The six element batteries 21-26 are connected three in parallel and two in series, and to the element battery 24 out of them, a wiring lead 55 for voltage monitoring is connected between the monitoring terminal 27c of the circuit board 27. In the element battery 24, the wiring lead 55 is connected through a clad plate at a part (shoulder portion) 24e adjacent to the negative electrode terminal 24c in the outer package can.
