PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a remote-operated top toy, limiting the rotation time for rotating a motor at a high speed, and limiting the number of times of operation not to make the timing of high-speed rotation available indiscriminately to give a feeling of tension to the control over the top toy. SOLUTION: This remote-operated top toy A is formed by combination of the top toy 1 and a remote controller unit 2 for varying the movement mode of the top toy 1 by remote operation. A motor 18 is disposed in the top toy 1, the rotating direction and the rotating speed of the motor 18 are controlled according to a control signal transmitted from the remote controller unit. A top axis 24 of the top toy 1 is rotated in association with the rotation of the motor 18. The remote controller unit 2 is provided with a plurality of operation parts 33 for operating the control signal, and provided with a control part 60 for controlling the transmission of the control signal based on the operation of the operation parts 33.
