The present invention relates to a skin treatment apparatus which accurately delivers high frequency energy to the target portion of dermal tissue without burning the epidermis layer of the skin, and artificially causes damage to the target portion to stimulate a wound-healing response, thereby facilitating skin regeneration and collagen growth. The skin treatment apparatus of the present invention protects the surface of the skin from an external wound and relieves pain during the insertion of a conductive needle into the skin, and maintains a constant insertion depth for the needle. The skin treatment apparatus of the present invention comprises: a plurality of needles, each of which are coated with an insulating material, except for the sharp ends thereof; a needle-fixing unit for fixing the plurality of needles; a driving unit which delivers force directly or indirectly to the needle fixing unit to insert the plurality of needles fixed at the needle fixing unit into the skin; and an electromagnetic wave-transmitting unit electrically connected to the plurality of needles to transmit electromagnetic waves to the needles. |
