DISPLAY DEVICE AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a display device compact by reducing an area where wiring and a sealing material around a pixel part and a drive circuit occupy in the display device.

SOLUTION: The wiring is formed at a portion which is covered by the sealing material on a pixel substrate. In this case, the wire width of this wiring is set so that the sealing material at the upper part of the wiring may be sufficiently exposed to the ultraviolet light when the sealing material is irradiated with the ultraviolet light through the wiring. Instead of using wiring of large width, a wiring with a form in which a plurality of wire of small width are parallel connected is used.
