PURPOSE: A multi-directional extension cursor and a method of implementing the multi-directional extension cursor are provided to accurately and promptly select a desirable object by placing a cursor near the object on a limited size screen. CONSTITUTION: An extension cursor includes a plural selection keys. The extension cursor is indicated on a screen and moved by the input operation of a user. The selection keys corresponds to at least one object and is displayed on the screen(S20). A desirable object selects the selection keys corresponding to the object to be executed(S30).
