PURPOSE: A broken tap remover is provided to remove a broken part of a tapping tool using a chisel which is fitted to a collet of a machine without moving a work piece. CONSTITUTION: A broken tap remover comprises a chisel part(K) and a shank part(S). The chisel part comprises an edge unit and lots of grooves for discharging chips. The edge unit consists of a plurality of edges having specified thicknesses and angles. The exterior of the chisel part is tapered toward the shank part.
