PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polyamide resin composition for a film which has matte texture, is less yellowish, and has a satisfactory film appearance, which has high water-vapor permeability, is highly effective in smoking treatment, diminishes troubles such as filter clogging, and has excellent suitability for continuous production, and to provide a film composed thereof. SOLUTION: The polyamide resin composition for the film comprises a polyamide resin (A), a vinylamide polymer (B), and a crosslinked poly(N-vinyllactam) (C) with an average particle size of 10-70μm, wherein the blending ratio of the polyamide resin (A) to the sum of the vinylamide polymer (B) and the crosslinked poly(N-vinyllactam) (C), (A):((B)+(C)), is 70:30 to 98:2 mass% and the blending ratio of the vinylamide polymer (B) to the crosslinked poly(N-vinyllactam) (C), (B)/(C), is 80/20 to 20/80 (mass ratio).
