PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an illuminating lamp device excelling in respect of product life and space saving while ensuring illuminating performance equivalent to a general fluorescent lamp, by using cold-cathode tubes. SOLUTION: The cold-cathode tubes 11, 12 supported at both ends by support portions are disposed in a case 16, and an illumination object space can be irradiated with light from the cold-cathode tubes 11, 12 in a lighted state through translucent portions of the case 16. Light that does not directly head toward the illumination object space side out of the light from the cold-cathode tubes 11, 12 is reflected by a reflecting plate 15 to head toward the illumination object space. Appropriate illumination can thereby be attained using the cold-cathode tubes of long service life and easily reduced in diameter, and considerable miniaturization can be attained in comparison with the case of a conventional general fluorescent lamp. Illumination can be attained in a small space, and restrictions on arrangement can be reduced. Further, the amount of waste can be reduced by the long service life to reduce an environmental load while suppressing time and cost of maintenance such as replacement. COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
