<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive antitheft system of high reliability, for monitoring photovoltaic panels with simple constitution. <P>SOLUTION: In an antitheft and monitoring system 10 and 11 for a plurality of photovoltaic panels 1, the panels 1 are connected by means of a connection line L to a distribution substation 5. The monitoring system 10 includes a first unit 11 designed to generate an activation code 4 and associated to the distribution substation 5, so as to interrupt operation of the respective panels 1 in the absence of the activation code 4 for a pre-set period. Further, a second units 10 associated with the panels 1 are each designed to selectively activate a photovoltaic panel with a unique activation code 4 generated by the first unit 11, and outputs the corresponding unique activation code 4 to the connection line L to detect voltage and current characteristics of each panel 1 having been activated, thereby selectively activating the respective panels 1. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
