PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light irradiation device with a lamp and a condensing mirror capable of lowering a temperature of condensing mirror without lowering a temperature of a lamp. SOLUTION: A cylindrical wind regulating plate 8 is fixed on a rear side of a condensing mirror 2 and a gap between a through-hole 2a of the condensing mirror and a pedestal 4 on which a lamp 1 is fixed is narrowed with this wind regulating plate 8. Cooled air (Fig.2(a)) passing the through-hole 2a of the condensing mirror 2 toward an inner side of the condensing mirror 2 flows through this gap, and an air volume of the air cooling the lamp 1 becomes little. Further, the air (Fig.2(b)) volume passing thorough the outside of the condensing mirror 2 becomes more. With this, the air volume of the air passing in the outside of the condensing mirror 2 and cooling the condensing mirror 2 becomes more to suppress a temperature raise of the condensing mirror 2. Moreover, the air volume of the air for cooling the lamp 1 becomes little, and even if the cooling-air volume is increased, supercooling of the lamp 1 can be prevented. COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
