PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To propose a crane preventing collapse thereof which might occur when the crane with a boom lifted is subjected to an earthquake. SOLUTION: The quay crane includes: a girder disposed above leg sections comprised of two legs on the sea side and two legs on the island side; and the boom that rotates taking one end of the girder adjacent to the sea side as a fulcrum. In the quay crane in which the distance between the two legs on each of the sea side and the island side is connected by a sill beam, a heavy object having a weight to such a degree that the inclination of the quay crane can be suppressed is disposed on the sill beam.
