PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To downsize an antenna for a high frequency and enlarge a range of frequencies in which the antenna is usable. SOLUTION: The antenna 1 is provided with a conductor 4 on a surface of a substrate 2, and includes a feed terminal 6 connected electrically to this conductor 4. The substrate 2 includes composite magnetic material, the composite magnetic material is obtained by dispersing a magnetic oxide into a resin, and the magnetic oxide is such that cobalt oxide is 16 mol% or more but 20 mol% or less in terms of CoO, the iron oxide is 71 mol% or more but 75 mol% or less in terms of Fe<SB>2</SB>O<SB>3</SB>, the remnant includes at least one of BaO and SrO, and Co substituted W type hexagonal ferrite is used as a principal phase.
