The invention relates to a transport means with increased all-terrain travel capability. Delimitation of an increased pressure area by caterpillar tracks increases the all-terrain travel capability, manoeuvrability and safety. The use of movable barriers or compartments increases the efficiency and controllability. The adjustment of the degree of delimitation by caterpillar tracks of the increased pressure area makes it possible to increase the efficiency. Upon movement by land, efficiency is ensured by the use of movable barriers (compartments), and by caterpillar tracks which have barrier elements. Upon movement by water, the efficiency is achieved by distributing the increased pressure into a space delimited by the movement surface.
