The invention pertains to the fuel elements for thermal treatment of food, especially they are foreseen for grilling of meat, sausage, frankfurters, fish and vegetables. The solid fuel element offered is characterized with the following: all its details are made of dry wooden bars, preferably of angiospermous wood bars arranged in several levels, best of all in four levels. In each level the spaces between the bars are dimensioned in such a way that at least two bars are located in each level and they are oriented preferably in parallel. The bars located in adjacent levels are oriented mutually in perpendicular directions. All bars mutually are secured applying thin coat of adhesive on contacting surfaces in order to form the integral structure of fuel element. |
