A focusing light-emitting diode (LED) lamp comprises a body (1) in which an aluminum base plate (2) and a reflecting hood (5) are installed. An LED chip (3) is fixed on the aluminum base plate (2). The aluminum base plate (2) is joined with a radiator (4). A convex lens (6) is installed on the LED chip (3). The convex lens (6) is capable of focusing light with an angle of 120° - 170° from the LED into a light with an angle of about 90°. A large portion of the light is emitted out directly, and a small portion is emitted out through the reflection of the reflecting hood (5). This makes the irradiation range of the LED lamp between 70° - 90°, while the loss of light is only around 20%. |
