PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To securely inhibit a game player from carrying hold balls in a specified game machine. SOLUTION: The storage medium processing system has the following processes: counting game balls with a first counting machine 2; sending a counted result to a first storage control part 11; the first control part 11 makes a storage part 24 of a management device 9 store hold ball information; a second read/write part 15 reads discrimination information stored in a storage medium 1 to send it to a collation part 17; collating the discrimination information with discrimination information stored in a storage medium discrimination information storage part 16; in the case of disagreement, a second storage control part 20 makes a ban-on-use-of hold ball information storage part 18 and an accumulation hold ball information storage part 19 store the hold ball information of the storage medium 1; when receiving a hold ball put-out signal, a calculation part 21 reduces the number of hold balls stored in the ban-on-use-of hold ball information from the number of the accumulation hold balls; and a put-out control part 22 puts out game balls of a reduced number of the hold balls.
